My own battle with anorexia and unhealthy self-image is what got me into the gym in the first place. After a long, trying journey back to sanity I decided that fitness was my true calling. It felt good. It was healthy.

So I earned my certification as a Personal Trainer and then another certification in Lifestyle & Weight Management. Armed with real knowledge of how the body works and the role of nutrition, I worked for three years in both New York and California, learning from other trainers in gyms, taking fitness courses, going to lectures and conferences, while amassing experience with my own clients both in the gym and out.

What I learned along the way is that the old cliché is true –
it’s all in your head.

You don’t have to run a four-minute mile to be healthy. You don’t have to be a size zero to be attractive.

It’s all in your head, and it all starts with setting the right goals for yourself.

Would you like to fit into the jeans you wore in college without creating the dreaded muffin-top? Would you like to be able to take the stairs without wheezing for 10 minutes at the end and nearly blacking out?

I know how to help you achieve those goals without messing up your body through unhealthy diets or dangerous workouts.

Don’t get me wrong – if you can still walk in a straight line after a session with me I would consider it a personal failure. In the short term I will do my best to make you sick with pain. But in the long term, experience tells me you’ll thank me for it.
